Our ForUS Board June Update

The first few months have flown by and it’s fair to say that from a personal perspective, I’m thoroughly enjoying being part of the first cohort for our FORUS Board!

At an early stage, the Board members agreed on the roles and responsibilities required, in order to support the running of an effective meeting. We did, however, elect to rotate the roles (Chair, Minutes etc.) on a monthly basis, to allow everyone to participate and gain both experience and exposure across the term.

Furthermore, the team has been ‘on the road’ with trips to Leicester and Northampton ticked off, and with York next on the list! We’re hoping to visit as many offices as possible, over the next year.

A key focus at present, is working with the project owners on four of the 3YP projects. Whilst all of the plans have started well, there’s one project in particular the FORUS Board have already put their stamp on…watch this space for an announcement in the July QBR from us!
