WE'RE THE TEAM BEHIND THE YORK RUGBY LEAGUE TEAM!

we’re onside with York Rugby League Football Club (York RLFC) which includes York Knights (men’s team) and York Valkyrie (women’s team)!

Fortus is revealed as the main shirt partner for the Knights team, as well as a partner of the Valkyrie team for 2023…


Playing out of the LNER Community Stadium, York Knights currently play in the Betfred Championship, the second tier of the Rugby League pyramid and have ambitions to be promoted to the top flight as soon as possible, whilst the Valkyrie play in the Betfred Women’s Super League.

Craig Herbert, Executive Director here at Fortus said, “We’re thrilled to be part of York RLFC. Like us, they’re an ambitious and entrepreneurial business with plans to not only compete at the highest level, but to support the local community in York.”

Clint Goodchild, Chairman of York RLFC commented, “When I took over the club, I outlined some strong ambitions, one of which was to take the team to the Super League something I stand by. However, to achieve such ambitions it’s important to have the right, for want of a better phrase, team behind the team. Having Fortus onboard as a major partner will help us deliver upon not just our ambitions within the men’s game but also the women’s game where last year we made it to the Women’s Super League Grand Final.”
