Corporate Finance Fortus Team Updates

1 June 2022

With continued growth at Fortus Business Advisors & Accountants, we’re excited to announce several changes to our Corporate Finance team through new additions and promotions amongst the existing line-up.

We’re seeing increasing demand, both with our clients and the wider market, as they seek to shore up the future of their business, whether that’s through acquisitions, succession planning, or fund raises.

The changes we’ve made within our team reflect this demand.

paula carter – senior corporate finance manager

Our Fortus Corporate Finance team were delighted to welcome Paula Carter who joined on 23rd May to strengthen our Lead Advisory offering across the Midlands.

Paula, a well-known and respected deal maker across the region, previously worked at a top 10 firm as well as a large local independent, and joins Fortus as a Senior Manager.

Paula will be integral in supporting the broad range of services the team already provides to the marketplace. Above this, her knowledge and experience will be invaluable in supporting our clients in what’s a challenging time for many businesses.

PATRICK FAUGHNAN – DIRECTOR, CORPORATE FINANCE

Patrick Faughnan will be promoted to Director from 1st June and will move into a role to oversee and manage the team, whilst continuing to successfully deliver Lead Advisory projects.

Patrick’s promotion is testament to his hard work, commitment, and track record delivering acquisitions and succession solutions for our clients.

His credentials as a dealmaker continue to accelerate, buoyed by his historic accolades as an ‘Emerging Dealmaker of the Year’ and growing professional network, and in recent years, reflected in the projects he’s won, led, and managed.

MARK STANDISH – CONSULTANT

Mark Standish, who’s successfully led the department for the past five years will be “passing on the baton” of day-to-day management to Patrick in the summer 2022.

Mark will remain active as a Consultant to Fortus on an ongoing basis, continuing to add value to our growing Corporate Finance team.
