Why does my company need an audit?
Your company will usually need an audit if it meets two of the following criteria:

If 10% or more of your shareholders have requested for an audit to be carried out you will require an audit.
There is a two-year rule for private limited companies, which means your business will need to have ticked two of the above boxes for two out of three financial years (the current accounting year and the previous two).
How the audit process works
Initial discussions and quote
Either at your premises or ours, we will undertake a discovery and start to get to know your business and any future objectives.
Onboarding
Once our proposal is accepted, we’ll issue formal letters of engagement and kick-off the onboarding process.
Pre year end meeting
We’ll discuss recent management accounts and work together to produce a schedule of works to meet your deadlines.
Stocktake
We’ll visit your sites, observe your inventory processes and control procedures before performing sample checks.
Planning
We’ll visit your premises and discuss your financial systems in detail. You’ll then receive a planning document which will identify key areas of focus.
Fieldwork
We’ll conduct detailed testing and collect evidence to meet the agreed objectives of the audit - all of which you’ll have received advanced notice of.
Clearance Meeting
We’ll meet with you to discuss our findings, and we’ll agree a timetable for completion.
Sign-Off
Formal approval and sign-off of your accounts, where you’ll be required to confirm that you’ve made us aware of everything we need to know.

We’re available to you on an ongoing basis to assist with anything you might need to ensure a fiscal year which runs smoothly.
