Our services

Explore the specialist solutions we’ve designed specifically for charities and the wider not-for-profit sector below.

Accounts

We deliver clear, timely accounts that meet all charity regulations. We help you keep track of restricted versus unrestricted funds, simplify financial reporting, and free you to focus on your cause - not paperwork.

Audit and Independent Examinations

We go beyond ticking boxes. We manage risk, refine processes, and ensure compliance to strengthen trust with your funders, trustees, and the public, all while keeping your time, budget, and cause front of mind.

Business Advisory

From budgeting and cash‐flow forecasting to growth strategy and risk planning, we partner with you to turn challenges into opportunity. We help you make decisions that are impact-aligned, forward-looking and support optimal governance practices.

Tax Compliance and Advisory

From Gift Aid and VAT to exemptions, we navigate the charity tax landscape with you - ensuring compliance and uncovering efficiencies so more of your resources go where they matter most.

VAT

VAT can be tricky for charities, especially around exemptions, zero-rating, and partial exemption. Our experts simplify the rules and help you maximise VAT recovery - so you can focus on what really matters.

Wealth Management

Whether managing reserves, building an endowment, or reviewing your investment policy - our investment specialists help you align funds with your values, maximise performance, and deliver lasting impact with confidence.

The Fortus Foundation

Reaching the small but mighty

We launched the Fortus Foundation to reach the often-overlooked smallest charities, community groups, CICs and school causes through grant-giving and practical support.

Through collaboration with businesses, organisations, and individuals, we empower communities across Yorkshire to thrive by addressing key issues like education, employment, and social equality.

We’re always open to new collaborations and ideas - let’s talk about how we can work together to make a meaningful impact.
