- We also strengthened our community connections through a leisurewear sponsorship with York City Knights and expanded our presence by acquiring Rayner & Co in Scarborough.

- We established a dedicated Payroll team to better serve our clients’ needs and proudly became the front-of-shirt sponsor for York City Knights.
- Our commitment to excellence was recognised when we won 'Employer of the Year' at the Scarborough Business Awards and celebrated an award-winning evening at the Yorkshire Accountancy Awards. Fortus was also ranked 14th in the SME category and 36th among the UK’s top 100 accountancy firms.
- To top it off, the Fortus stand at Scarborough FC was officially unveiled, marking another milestone in our community involvement.

- We consolidated into a regional business and invested in building strong functional teams, including HR, Finance, and Marketing, to support our growing ambitions.
- During this time, we launched several new service lines, such as Wealth Management and Intermediary Services.

- To further support ambitious business owners, we launched our Business Finance service line giving our clients an easy route to advice across their entire finance lifecycle.
- Our growth continued with the acquisition of Charles Stewart Ltd in Leeds, and we proudly achieved carbon neutral status as part of our drive to support a greener future.
- 2024 also saw us launch the Fortus Academy, our transformative career experience aimed at developing the next wave of accounting leaders through apprenticeships in audit, accounts, tax and outsourcing.
- We also introduced a five-year growth plan to guide our future development.
- Our expansion continued with the acquisition of JWP Creers and the opening of our Leeds office.
- Additionally, we identified our net zero carbon emissions goal as part of our commitment to sustainability.

- We introduced a comprehensive people strategy to support our team’s growth and wellbeing, alongside launching the Fortus Foundation to strengthen our community impact.
