I qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1964 and spent two years with a ‘Big 4’ firm plus two years in industry. Since 1969 I’ve been a Partner in two Hertfordshire-based accountancy firms. I’ve covered all aspects of work that arise within a small practice, but have concentrated on taxation services for individuals, Trusts and owner managed businesses, together with their accountancy requirements.
In our younger days, my wife and I spent a great deal of time traveling around the world having visited all eight continents, the highlight being the visit to Antarctica. Now our holidays are mainly spent in our holiday flat overlooking the sea in Suffolk. We have three sons, two daughters-in-law and four grandchildren and keep in close contact with them all.
