Fortus celebrates double award win
Fortus picks up two accolades at the 2022 Yorkshire Accountancy Awards!

In the lead up to Shrove Tuesday 2022, the Milton Keynes Rose Project Team called upon local business and organisations to take on the challenge of a relay race in Campbell Park. In true Fortus spirit, we grabbed the challenge (the frying pan baton) with both hands to raise essential money that’ll be used to fund future Milton Keynes community projects.
From left to right: Lauren Upton (Accounts Senior – Milton Keynes), Georgia Rendel (Finance Senior – Northampton), David McGeachy (Head of VAT – Northampton) and Rebecca Fitzsimons (Credit Controller – Northampton).
It was cold and wet, but kudos to our team who showed up at The Parks Trust Milton Keynes MK Rose Corporate Pancake Race donning the Fortus tee and their chef bandanas. Competition was fierce (we were up against Fierce Gym!) but with strong encouragement and support from Lisa Kingham (Business Support Senior), Angela Taylor (Manager), Gemma Rutland (Accounts Senior) and Amelia Geary (Accounts Executive) on the sideline, our pancake squad put their all in.
Whilst we didn’t bring the trophy home this time, we’ve done our bit for one of our local communities – and that’s what it’s all about.
